ChristianAnarchy Today was a live YouTube broadcast hosted by Shawn McCraney, Steve Utley and Ethan Foster from 2020 – 2022 covering hot topics surrounding Evangelicalism today.

The show title “ChristianAnarchy Today” is a play on words of the American Evangelical magazine, Christianity Today. It’s target audience is younger people – high school and most particularly, college aged. The by-line of the show is, “If you think you understand Christianity you are probably wrong,” which is exactly what the weekly on-line show is all about – explaining what the sacred Christian faith actually is (according to the Bible) as opposed to what people think and suppose it to be.

As a means to show our belief that God has gifted people with wonderful skills and talents we begin each show illustrating this principle through the musical skills of Steve Utley, hoping to inspire others like him to also apply their God given skills to their lives.

SOLID EXPLANATIONS OF THE FAITH

We suggest that Christianity, for a number of reasons, is greatly misunderstood. Our purpose is to then explain the faith for what it really is rather than relying on religious traditions and other absurdities. We do this through a contextual appeal to the Bible.

REASONABLE REASONS TO BELIEVE

It is our opinion that in this world there are more reasons not to believe or trust in Christianity then there are reasons to embrace it. Our ambition is to remove those insipid impediments to the faith in our modern age without sacrificing truth and to highlight the reasons why faith in Christ is a positive, reasonable choice.

FREE SUPPORT PRODUCTS TO ALL

One of the evils of modern Christianity is commercialisation. We believe that products and tools related to the King ought to be as free as the Gospel they represent. So where there may be some minor costs associated with some of our products we do all we can to make our products available to all without price.

I find Shawn's simple message gives a refreshing outlook and puts trust back to the bibles purpose in our walk with Jesus.
